Marshall-Tufflex - Contractors Flock to Marshall-Tufflex at Electric Event

Marshall Voltage Optimisation

Fresh from its runaway success at the Electrical Wholesaler Awards, Marshall-Tufflex drew the crowds to its seminar and exhibition stand at the Electric Event (May 28-30, ICC Birmingham).

The British manufacturer showcased products from both its extensive cable management and energy management portfolio, creating a buzz of interest, particularly in features of the trunking ranges such as Part M compliance and its newly launched Approved Installer scheme for energy management products.

Jeremy Dodge, Head of Marketing and Technical Services at the manufacturer, presented the ‘Reduce energy costs, build customer loyalty’ seminar, looking at the importance of understanding a client’s energy profile and selecting the right energy saving solution.

“The seminar went very well, creating a lot of interest in our energy management solutions, including voltage optimisation, sub-metering and the Domestic/Commercial Boiler Manager units,” said Mr Dodge. “A lot of people came to our stand following the seminar and we found that contractors recognised that these products offer a key area of development for their businesses and were really impressed with the range of solutions we have to offer. It makes sense for electrical contractors to consider how they can help customers save money by reducing energy use and, for commercial clients, implement an energy management strategy. The event was a really good opportunity to discuss this growing market sector, examine the opportunities for installers and explain how and why the various products work. We came away with a number of good quality leads and three contractors keen to become Marshall-Tufflex Approved Installers.”

The Electric Event combined the ECA Electrical Industry Conference with an exhibition and awards night. Marshall-Tufflex, which sponsored the three-day event, exhibited a working demonstration of its domestic voltage optimisation system Voltis Home plus Domestic and Commercial Boiler Management systems, the Sinergy e-Tracker sub-meter and commercial/industrial Power Factor Correction units.

From its market-leading cable management division Marshall-Tufflex showed the all-curved Cat 6 & 7 compliant Odyssey trunking profile fitted with DDA-compliant blue back boxes. Also on stand was Twin 165, Twin Plus, XL, Sterling and Steel cable containment solutions and underfloor to desk solutions, including Powertrack and the MT32 32amp power connection system.

* Marshall-Tufflex won all three of the categories it entered in the recent Electrical Wholesaler Awards – Best Supplier Customer Service; Best Overall Supplier and Best New Product for its Voltis ECO voltage optimisation system.
